Sparkly + Clean Brushes + Update

HOLLA!
Sorry it took me forever and a day to get back on the post mode. I had a busy weekend and i kinda took it as a way to step back and reorganize my life.
I am entering all kinds of contest this week for opportunities in the BEAUTY industry which i love and adore as you all already know.
I have been testing my skills on youtbe and to be honest i don't know how you all do it i'm not camera shy or anything but it takes a whole lot of time to come up with the right thing to say.

Anyway... TODAY i am going to be sharing with you the quickest , fastest, brush safe way to clean your makeup brushes.

I know we all are clean people and never re use a dirty brush ( yeah right)  but really we shouldn't use a dirty brush and the reasons why i will make sure linger in your mind for a while.

First of all our own bacteria in the eyes and skin (yes no matter how sparkling and clean we might feel, we all have BACTERIA good bacteria and bad bacteria) you transfer unknowingly into your makeup brushes when we leave them dirty we allow that bacteria to grow and reproduce in the brush itself.
If we use that same brush again we can end up with pink eye or worse eye infections!

Second of all the surfaces in which we place our brushes are not always necessarily the cleanest either for example: our makeup bag. We throw all kinds of stuff in there we use with our dirty hands , then we contaminate our brushes.

Third of all We can cross contaminate within our own FACE yeah you heard me!
When we have a pimple , it is considered a skin infection lets say you touch it with your foundation brush to try to cover it... then right after......you put foundation on your EYES!
DANGER, DANGER, DANGER
you can possibly transmit that infection into your eye then you sit there wondering....
"but whyyy do i have a stye?!" well wonder no more and please clean your brushes ladies.

Here's a quick way to do it and not damage the bristles of your brush or the integrity of the brush itself.

All you need is:

*two dipping trays
*antibacterial soap
*hot water

Dipping trays are important because you get to twist the brush around cleaning the inner parts of the bristle without damaging the brush itself!

Then right after RINSE with your hands under HOT water
Hot water kills bacteria and also removes wax makeup easily and helps the makeup break down faster.

Last but not least. Let them air dry. To keep the bristles long lasting don't be harsh on them! I have my brushes on a small mason jar it keeps the water from running and its easy and clean.

I really love reading your feedback! If you have any questions or comments let me know below.

xo,
